About Felt a Little Love♥

I have always loved creating with my hands since childhood…

from handmade cards for friends and teachers,

whittling (ancient) coloured chalk pieces to make mini-vases for mini tea tables (and imagining they made a little difference),

dreaming of building my own doll house using beautiful wood right from scratch and

eventually penning poetic musings and writing years on

– long after I had forgotten the old joys of craftwork with the onset of work in life.

It took me a trial of sorts in early 2013 – and more importantly, the self-enforced phase of healing in its wake, inspired especially by a precious trip to beautiful and blessed Kyoto that helped me discover a lightness of being I had not felt in a long time since.

I picked up felt crafting in early 2014 as an unspoken hobby and somewhere in February 2014, I decided to apply the tenacity of a beloved ukulele artiste, the amazing Victoria Vox to begin a 52-week craft project to keep myself inspired through the rediscovered joys of handicraft.

While I pursue this craft purely as an amateur, I love all the learning that has come along with picking up this sweet craft that brings only light and love.

Thank you for dropping by my fledgling site and I hope my modest work brings you some cheer, too. Stay precious♥
